Learn how to get the most out of your wood burner this winter. Home heating expert Dave Pullen of the NZ Home Heating Association will be demonstrating how to light a smoke-free ‘upside down’ fire in your wood burner and he’ll explain how to determine if your firewood is ready to burn. He will also be able to answer your questions about how to keep your home warm and dry this winter.
Dave has a wealth of experience in home heating having been involved in retailing and installing heating appliances for the last 40 years, including multi-fuel and pellet fires, gas and oil burners. For the last 20 years, Dave has been a Field Officer and trainer for the NZ Home Heating Association covering all aspects of warm and healthy homes.
All welcome. Light refreshments will be provided.
