Deb Smith is a retired teacher from the Hanover Public School District, holds a MA in Holocaust and Genocide Studies, and is completing a PhD in the Genocide and Holocaust Studies program at Gratz College. Additionally, she is a United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Teacher Fellow, is part of the Holocaust and Jewish Resistance Teachers Program, Jewish Foundation for the Righteous Fellowship, and completed a Community of Holocaust Education Centers Training and holds a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University.
Together, we can confront ignorance with knowledge and replace hate with understanding.
