*The first 20 participants who checked in will be provided with a meditation stool, large and small sitting cushions, and a blanket for covering the legs.

**Please wear modest and loose clothes, long pants, and socks.

Refreshment will be provided during break time, and free vegetarian lunch served after.

Introduction of Instructor: Ven. Jianshan is the Abbess of Buddha Mind Monastery in Oklahoma, one of the branches of Chung Tai Chan Monastery (CTCM) based in Taiwan. Her journey of awakening began in 2002 while attending the College Student Meditation Summer Camp at CTCM. Learning from the wisdom of Buddhism, she realized that true happiness comes from inner peace. In 2011, she was ordained under Grand Master Ven. Weichueh, the Founding Abbot of CTCM, and studied at the Chung Tai Buddhist Institute.

From 2014 to 2019, she served at Chung Tai-affiliated Zen centers in Atlanta and Los Angeles. Later, she returned to Taiwan and completed her graduate studies at the Buddhist Institute in 2022, before returning to the US to serve in Oklahoma.

With an educational background, Ven. Jianshan aspires to share her Dharma joy with Westerners through organized and regular Zen Meditation Classes, aiming to attain perfect enlightenment along with all sentient beings.
