About this Event
This series will explore the manifestation of grief, common misconceptions about grief, coping with emotions, finding one's identity through the loss, and vicarious and intergenerational grief, thought the use of mindfulness and land-based healing techniques.
<h4>Healing Circles</h4>
Led by Love & Kindness, to support the Mental Health needs of Harlem and NYC residents. The two groups that will be offered: Postpartum Depression, Grief and Loss.
The workshops will open to the community and will be held bi-weekly and are facilitated by 2 licensed therapists whom are also experience with working with people managing complex trauma, depressions, anxiety, stress, Grief & loss, interpersonal conflict. Facilitators also specialize working with people who identify as LGBTQ and those who navigate the hurtful impacts of homophobia, racism, sexism and other practices of inequality in our society.
