Covering a wide variety of tools and techniques for use in mixed media, attendees learn about the wide range of GOLDEN Acrylic paints and mediums as well as QoR Watercolor, providing a good understanding of each product, and how to make the best choices in grounds and colors for the intended application and archival quality. Learn how to prepare surfaces for paint, how to create washes, stains, collages, encaustic-like effects, along with the use of stencils, paint markers, pastels, pencils. See how Iridescent and Interference colors can add unique qualities to your work. We will also discuss different mediums and how they influence paints. Nancy Seiler Bio:
Nancy Seiler received her Visual Communications degree from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1981. As a Golden Working Artist for Golden Artist Colors she presents lectures, demonstrations and workshops in acrylics and watercolors in Southern California and Montana. She has taught classical botanical illustration and nature journaling since 2003. Her work is represented by Frame of Reference Fine Art in Whitefish and Bigfork, Montana and Tucson, Arizona and 709 Gallery in Missoula, Montana.
