Gelson's Market is celebrating the launch of its new Epicure Coffee Series collaboration with acclaimed specialty coffee roaster Go Get Em Tiger with a free pour over coffee giveaway. The event is set for Tuesday November 19 from 10:30am to 1:30pm exclusively at the wine bar at Gelson’s Century City location.
Bear Goodell the Director of Product and Roasting Operations at Go Get Em Tiger and baristas will be serving up FREE sample cups of the Epicure line coffees. The event will showcase four of the new elite coffee varieties each sourced from top international producers and roasted locally in Los Angeles. Coffee enthusiasts can indulge in:
- Abaya Lake Ethiopia a medium-light bodied single-origin coffee grown in the Nensebo Woreda region in Africa with a floral twist and hints of jammy stone fruit;
- Boa Vista Brazil a medium-bodied single-origin coffee from the Cerrado Mineiro region exuding the fragrance of dried fruits such as raisins and figs with a nutty finish;
- Cerro de Oro Guatemala a bold and chocolatey medium-bodied single-origin coffee with a hint of cherry and papaya harvested by small shareholding producers in the steep Atitlán volcano region; and
- Gelson’s Reserve a medium-dark bodied coffee blend of Colombian Guatemalan and Honduran varieties perfect for those who enjoy rich and textured chocolatey espresso.
