About this Event
Meet up at Mountain View Caltrain station with your bike, get a free $10 reloadable Clipper Card, and join us for a ride one stop down the train line to the Bike Valet that SVBC and the City of Sunnyvale provide!
We're riding to celebrate autumn time, locally-sourced, nutritious food, and stress-free active transportation. Loaner bikes are available upon request!
We are seeking promo and rider recruitment partners. Stipends are available to co-hosting organizations. The event's goal is to create a fun, supportive environment for beginners and families to ride a bike for joy and health. Please email [email protected] for next steps to partner and earn a stipend for your organization!
Here's What To Expect:
This ride combines our love of healthy and nutritious food with active and sustainable transportation habits. The goal is to create a welcoming environment for people to get comfortable using transit and bikes to run everyday errands. We hope you bring a buddy!
You can meet us at the Mountain View Caltrain at 9:30 AM for bike safety checks and presentations from community partners - we will learn how to bring our bikes on-board the 9:55 AM Southbound Caltrain and ride one stop to Sunnyvale! Then, we'll get off the train and ride our bikes a few short blocks to the Sunnyvale Farmer's Market.
Enjoy the farmer's market for some time, and meet back at the Bike Valet at 11:15 AM. We will have another chance to practice putting our bikes on the Northbound Caltrain at 11:41 AM, and will get off back in Mountain View at 11:45 AM.
The City of Sunnyvale is sponsoring Bike Valet at eight consecutive Farmer's Markets between Saturday, September 20th, and Saturday, November 8th! Come learn about our bike valet program and the paid leadership opportunities it offers you!
Please bring with you:
- Weather-appropriate clothing

- Flat repair kit (if you have it)
See you soon!
