On Thursday, October 2nd at 1pm, Nancy Wildoner will be performing in concert on the historic, restored 1934 Wurlitzer Theatre Organ originally from the Rainbow Room at NYC's Rockefeller Center! This pipe organ entertained Hollywood's brightest stars and the world's most influential people as they danced and dined at the "Top of the Rock."Stick around after the show for refreshments and tour the more than 750 pipes and equipment hidden in the walls that make this incredible sound possible!
About the artist:
Nancy Wildoner is president of the Binghamton Theater Organ Society (BTOS), BTOS Resident Organist, and creator of “Pop Pipes” productions. She is currently serving a three-year term on the Board of Directors of the American Theatre Organ Society (ATOS). Nancy is Organist and Choir Director at 1st Congregational Church UCC, Binghamton, NY.
When earning her Master of Music in Organ Performance at Binghamton University, she studied classical and theatre organ technique with M. Searle Wright. Nancy was honored by her alma mater in 2018 with induction into Liverpool Central School’s Fine Arts Hall of Fame in recognition of 30-plus years as a K-12 music educator and organist.
