About the Raptor Rehabilitation Program
We are the Raptor Rehabilitation program, a team of 1st and 2nd year veterinary students that serve as an extension of the Wildlife Hospital of Louisiana at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. Our mission includes successful rehabilitation of previously injured birds of prey, also known as raptors, and to share with our community the importance of wildlife conservation with the help of our six resident ambassador raptors! We provide daily care for both our rehabilitating raptors and resident raptors, including feeding and exercising, as well as training and enrichment for our residents. We absolutely love having the opportunity to engage with the community and share more about Louisiana's incredible wildlife!
