Join the Japanese American Museum of Oregon for this Free First Sunday, sponsored by Dale Kawata.Admission is free all day, 11am-4pm, and includes access to JAMO’s current exhibition, Taken From Their Families: Japanese American Incarceration on Angel Island During World War II. This Free Sunday is the last day the exhibition will be on view.
Celebrate Cherry Blossom Season with us at JAMO! Make Sakura kirigami (paper cutting craft) in our library – visitors can make a paper cherry blossom decoration to celebrate the arrival of spring. All ages welcome.
We also have a new History Detectives kids activity booklet at the museum. Complete the booklet during your visit and receive an official History Detective badge!
Then be sure to visit the Japanese American Historical Plaza, only 7 blocks away from the museum.
