FREE First Fridays at the San Mateo County History Museum – October 3 2025Enjoy a day of history family fun and community connection at the San Mateo County History Museum’s FREE First Fridays on Friday October 3 2025. Admission is free all day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with special programs for both kids and adults.
11 a.m. Preschool Program: Little ones will learn about the rodeo create their own clothespin horse to take home and enjoy a reading of Buckaroo: A Cowboy Alphabet inside the Museum’s Extraordinary Cow Palace exhibit.
2 p.m. Docent Tour: Adults can join a guided tour of the museum’s fascinating exhibits exploring the Peninsula’s history—from the Ohlone people to Silicon Valley innovation.
Located inside Redwood City’s historic Old Courthouse the Museum brings local stories to life with engaging exhibits on natural resources suburban growth cultural diversity and creative achievement.
