Our collection is your collection.Spend the day discovering what it means to collect at the Whatcom Museum. See cherished artworks pulled from the vault for Hard Edge/Soft Ground, explore employee collections in a rotating community display, and take part in hands-on activities for all ages.
Families can enjoy sweet gallery tours for ages 1–5, baby and toddler music classes, and creative drop-in activities like mini collection kits and collection zines with local artist Jam. Join curator-led tours of "Personal to Political," "Hard Edge/Soft Ground," and "Vivid Victorian" to learn more about the art and stories behind the exhibitions.
In the evening, settle in for a listening experience with Untitled Hi-Fi, exploring the history of record collecting and Japanese jazz kissa culture through custom playlists inspired by the exhibitions.
✨ Crafts, music, tours, and community—drop in for part of the day or stay awhile.
