Gesher Human Services will again offer their successful financial repair program HarMoney which helps to transform the financial lives of metro Detroiters by improving credit scores reducing debt and even offering the ability to afford a down payment for purchasing a home. The program has been bolstered by an expanded grant of $75000 from Huntington Bank which will provide eligible participants with a payment up to $2500 which can be used towards further paying off debt or even towards purchasing a home. HarMoney is geared towards low to moderate income families (as defined by US Department of Housing and Urban Development) who have a credit score of 620 or below. The program will be held every Monday from noon to 1 p.m. to allow people to join during their lunch period and also offer a second session from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for six weeks from Feb. 3 to March 10.
