Come to the Great Barrington Family Resource Center (141 West Ave.) for some family fun time — enjoy a meal together, and end the week in the company of other local families.
On Friday, Oct. 4 from 5pm to 7pm, enjoy some warm Sancocho on a fall evening. ??
Sancocho is a traditional stew in several Caribbean and Latin American cuisines. Sancocho can include many different ingredients depending on the region and recipe. Sancocho is often served with rice on the side. Come give our homemade Sancocho a taste!
This event is free to any family with children (0-18). Food, light snacks, and refreshments will be available.
Please register in advance so we can be sure to have enough ingredients for everyone. Please let us know of any dietary allergies or food intolerance.
To register or ask questions, contact the GB FRC by calling 413-528-0298 or sending email to [email protected].

????? ?? ???
The Great Barrington Family Resource Center (FRC) is a program of nonprofit community behavioral health agency Clinical & Support Options (csoinc.org).
It is open weekdays to provide free multi-cultural parenting and kid-friendly programs, mental health needs assessment, job/housing referrals, and school-focused help for families whose children range in age from birth to 18 years without any need for insurance.
Massachusetts Family Resource Centers (frcma.org) have been operating since 2015, with FRCs in each of the state’s 14 counties.
The Great Barrington FRC primarily serves Southern Berkshire County, but would welcome any nearby family looking for support, referrals or community.
