What: FREE Fossicking Event with planned activities
When: 16 November 2024, 10am-2pm
Where: Tambaroora Fossicking Area, Hillend, NSW, Australia
Why: Learn how to pan for gold, the history of gold in Hillend and have a blast with the family outdoors
How to get there?
Take the Turondale Road route from Bathurst using Google or Apple maps. Park in the field next to the red brick chimney. 4WD is not required. Public Bathrooms are located 5 minutes away.
What to bring?
Bring a shovel, bucket, snacks and water. It's a 100 meter walk from the parking spot to the creek. Optional items: chairs, extra clothes and towels (might get wet).
Food?
For a Gold Coin Donation, all you can BBQ/Cookout to include snags, minute steaks, eggs, etc.
