The South East Rivers Trust are working with Sevenoaks District Council and other partners to drain and restore Bradbourne Lakes and deliver an exciting programme of community engagement and volunteering opportunites linked to the lakes.This summer we will be hosting a family art workshop, taking inspiration from the water and wildlife at Bradbourne Lakes and using this to create beautiful pieces of artwork in a classroom-based session.
The plan for the day:
11am: Meet at Bradbourne Lakes, learn about the river and the lakes and use the park surroundings to take inspiration for your art project.
12pm: Picnic lunch in the park (weather permitting).
12:30pm: Walk or drive to Bat and Ball Station.
1pm: Classroom based art workshop at Bat and Ball Station.
4pm: Finish.
This activity is suitable for children aged 7 years and older. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Photos and video footage will be taken at this event and used by the Trust for promotional purposes (including but not limited to printed materials, social media, newsletters and the website) and potentially shared with our external partners and funders.
