Looking for a great excuse to get outside during the long Bellingham winter?! Come join the Raven's Roots Naturalist School at Fairhaven Park on Saturday, February 7th at 10am for a FREE Guided Naturalist walk around Padden Creek and the Hundred Acre Wood trails. Led by a pair of our experienced Instructors, this walk will show off some of the plant and animal life found around our city, dive into the ecology of our local forests and streams, and explore our own human connections with the landscape. We plan to be out on the paths and trails around Fairhaven park for about an hour and a half, so please plan accordingly and dress for the weather. We do not expect to walk much more than a mile. All are welcome to join us, and please bring along friends and family to share in the experience. To learn more about our Naturalist School and the other programs we offer, visit ravensroots.org. We hope to see you there! Please register for this free course at ravensroots.org/short-courses.
