Even as many of us are deepening in our digital addictions and our fast-paced lifestyles, others of us are slowing down and exploring something entirely different - the wild terrain of our own bodies.
Whether through somatic therapy, or kundalini yoga, or ecstatic dance, we are discovering that there is a vast landscape inside, with its treasure troves of mysterious wisdom, great reservoirs of bliss, and deep currents of direction and purpose.
In honour of the great miracle that is the felt sense of the body -- or the 'soma' -- we would like to invite you to an entirely FREE community event - Somatic Awakening - right near the bluff at Redhead Beach.
There will be a short talk on how to tap into the wisdom of the soma (by Jordan Bakker), a guided meditation on that very same topic (by Sarah Bunting), then facilitated small group discussions and a harvest (by Paul Tobin), and finally a FREE lunch of dal and rice.
