Goose Creek Association and Land Trust of Virginia are thrilled to invite you to a captivating evening of cinematic wonder and environmental awareness. Join us for Environmental Film Night 2025, showcasing the awe-inspiring film Wings Over Water, narrated by Michael Keaton.The event will take place on Friday, February 28, 2025, at The Hill School’s Sheila C. Johnson Performing Arts Center in Middleburg, VA. Doors open at 5:30 PM, and the film begins promptly at 6:15 PM.
Wings Over Water is a visually stunning film that celebrates the extraordinary beauty and critical importance of North America’s wetlands. Through breathtaking cinematography and engaging narration, the film highlights the essential role these ecosystems play in supporting a rich diversity of wildlife, including millions of migratory birds.
Following the screening, attendees will have the unique opportunity to interact with representatives from Virginia Working Landscapes and the John Marshall Soil and Water Conservation District, who will provide insights into practical actions you can take to protect and enhance these vital habitats in our local community.
This event is FREE and open to the public. Donations will be graciously accepted to support the Goose Creek Association and the Land Trust of Virginia’s ongoing conservation efforts.
