Veterans of the late ‘80s indie pop jostle, Newport’s Darling Buds carved their own furrow through the alt-rock landscape with 3 progressively different albums before quitting in the early 90’s. After almost two decades completely dormant, the early 10’s saw them revived and since then they’ve maintained a sporadically assured calendar of gigs and one new release in the 4 track Evergreen 10”. In 2026 they will release their long awaited 4th album and with gigs remaining a rare treat, catch them when and where you can.
Fnools a dynamic duo from Newport, with musical roots dating back to punk/new wave in late 70s, 80s. The band formed by Steve Woodward and Ken Moore in 2014, fnoolishly? Joined on stage occasionally, by a well known guitarist, Julian Hayman . Since 2016 have released 2 albums We became you and That strange disconnect ,both available via Bandcamp/Spotify/ Amazon . A third album is near completion!
