Join us on 30 September 2025 (Tuesday) for a relaxed and creative fashion personalisation workshop to liberate our fashion choices!
Just bring a garment with non-stretchy, reasonably thin fabric (see FAQ), you will be provided with all the materials and tools to be used during the workshop.
All abilities welcomed including beginners.
Workshop includes:
- 1.5 hours of relaxed embroidery tuition including starting your embroidery, different stitches and button sewing techniques, blending threads and finishing your embroidery
- All materials and tools including embroidery hoop, yarn, thread, button and needle will be provided to be used during the workshop. Please note that all tools and remaining materials (hoops, needles, scissors, etc.) must be returned at the end of the workshop.
- Your very own personalised fashion to take home and keep!
About the Venue
Thrive Cafe has sponsored the venue - there’s a policy of no food, snacks or drinks can be brought in from outside the premises.
Please note the venue and toilets are upstairs and there is no lift or any wheelchair access.
Other notes:
This workshop involves small parts and functional sharp points (e.g. scissors, needles). Also, due to the use of donated materials of unknown origin, we cannot guarantee the absence of allergens. If you have any allergies or not comfortable with handing small parts or functional sharp points, we strongly advise against participating.
