Join us for a free screening of the documentary "Fentanyl High" and get connected with trusted resources through Hopestream Community a nonprofit providing support and educational services to parents of teens and young adults with substance misuse and mental health challenges.
Fentanyl High is a documentary that unpacks what teens are really thinking about the fentanyl epidemic how they're processing emotional pain in school and at home and what can realistically be done to prevent self-medication through substance misuse. The film also highlights firsthand experiences of government officials paramedics doctors and parents of teens lost to fentanyl poisoning.
Hopestream will offer a short Q&A after the film to answer questions and provide additional resources. Everyone will have the option to receive two free doses of Narcan (the opioid overdose reversal nasal spray). This showing is for parents grandparents caregivers and anyone interested in learning more about substance use in our youth. Young people 13+ are also welcome to attend.
Doors will open at 6:50 pm and the film begins at 7:15 pm.
