Curriculum:
- DJ 101 fundamentals
- Vinyl/CDJ/Controller DJing
- DJ music theory and ear training
- DJ gear and software troubleshooting
- DJ history and culture
- Beat matching, phrasing, transitioning, EQ basics, and more
If you're a student who is planning to show up for class, please RSVP ahead of time by clicking the GOING button on this Facebook event so we can plan out how much gear we need to bring. Likewise, if you can no longer make it, please let us know ahead of time.
We meet at the Downtown Santa Ana Pizza Press location at 117 W. 4th Street, Unit 101. Santa Ana, CA 92701.
First two hours free parking at the City of Santa Ana Public Parking garage diagonally on the same block of Pizza Press.
Don't chance parking at a parking meter without paying, you will get a ticket.
**Bring Headphones to class. Any kind will work: DJ headphones, ear buds, any kind that you plug in (not bluetooth).**
