In this free demonstration, Michelle Barillaro will show how to use ampersand boards with cold wax medium, oil sticks and more! Stop by anytime between 1-4pm to learn more about these wonderful mediums. Michelle finds personal pleasure in abstracts because they allow the viewer to see something in them related to their own personal experiences and dreams. She primarily paints on wood panels with oil & cold wax medium. The addition of cold wax lends itself to different techniques for texturing, layering and subtracting paint- conceal and reveal- to build a history within the painting.
