About this Event
So you dust off the bike, jump back on and then you realise the roads have changed since you learnt to ride. Why not book a refresher session with one of our instructors to boost your confidence.
Come along to a Cycle Confidence session where we can build up your skills on the bike. We will start off road in a car park to ensure you have good bike control and can comfortably steer, brake, signal and use the gears. Depending on the group we may venture out onto some quiet roads to cover basic cycle training skills such as overtaking parked cars and turning at junctions.
There are two sessions, one from 3.30pm to 5pm, and one from 5.30pm to 7pm. Book your ticket for the session you would like to attend.
These sessions are for people aged 16 years and older only.
Attendees are required to bring their own bicycle and helmet with them for use during the session.
The training will start in in the car park by the Enterprise 1 building on the Frenchay campus.
Attendees should use the North Entrance to access the cycle training. If you are using a Sat Nav the postcode is BS34 8QZ.
