Congenital Syphilis Workshop
Learn the signs and symptoms of early congenital syphilis.
Syphilis in newborns is on the rise in the U.S.A. Studies show that babies born to females with untreated syphilis may be still born or die from the infection.
In this workshop you will learn about:
- Bone abnormalities.
- Enlarged liver and spleen.
- Jaundice yellowing of the skin and eyes.
- Low red blood cell count (anemia).
- Skin Rashes.
- Meningitis.
- Brain and nerve problems.
There will be refreshments, raffles, and gift cards available.
