Free Community SEED SWAP • Saturday Jan. 27, 2-4pmOnce again this year we will be hosting a free seed swap. This is a fun event with like minded vegetable and flower gardeners sharing seeds and conversation.
Swappers please arrive at 1:45 add your seeds to the table, mingle with other gardeners and choose seeds to take home.
Seeds should be saved from heirloom varieties. While there are many wonderful hybrid plants out there, they simply will not grow true from seed. Bring fresh seeds. Older a seed don’t germinate well, so bring seeds no more than 2 years old & label as such.
Bring seeds to trade. Label the seeds you are bringing, bring them in bulk jars or bags or have them separated into baggies or envelopes.
No seeds to trade? Come after 3:30 and take home extra seeds. We will provide baggies to fill and take home or
bring your own containers.
