TRANSGENDER DAY OF REMEMBRANCE ALTAR
Latino Equality Alliance (LEA) proudly presents the 2025 Transgender Day of Remembrance Altar, a tribute to the trans lives we've lost to violence, illness, and natural causes. We extend the Dia de los Muertos tradition of the ofrenda to Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR), honoring our transcestors (trans ancestors) by featuring their photographs and favorite things. While originally focused on lives lost to violence, we've broadened our intention to include all trans lives lost within our communities. We welcome you to join us in commemorating this TDoR Altar by attending this screening and bringing a photo of a departed trans loved one to add to the TDoR Altar for the evening, if applicable.
