Are you looking to learn more about population dynamics and field trapping?Palm Beach County has a robust population of Community Cats (i.e. outdoor, unowned cats that congregate in neighborhoods in colonies and are managed by Community Feeders). The population and movement of Community Cats is a current field of study and interest.
If you would like to learn field skills on setting, trapping, and working in field conditions, consider joining the Community Cat targeted trapping task force. Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control has a working group of people looking to humanely trap Community Cats for a process called TNVR (Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return) to help control the overall population of Community Cats within the County.
