About this Event

Honor your loved ones by adding a token to our community ofrenda (altar). From October 30 to November 2, all are invited to contribute to this collaborative art installation during SHAMc hours, 12 noon to 5 pm daily. Traditional offerings include framed photos, favorite foods, flowers, and personal mementos. Día de los Muertos, celebrated in Mexico during this time, honors the dead when the veil between worlds is believed to be thinnest. Marigolds are used to help guide spirits back to the living.
