Florida’s Coliseum of Comics chain, the largest comics and collectibles retailer in the Southeast, is among the thousands of comic book retailers around the world celebrating the largest event in the industry on Saturday, May 3rd: Free Comic Book Day (FCBD). Each year, participating stores give millions of comic books to millions of fans to introduce them to the wonders of comics.Free Comics Book Day began in 2002, offering the community a fun, family-oriented event where everyone can find a comic they’ll enjoy. Chosen by retailers on the FCBD Committee, there’s a free comic book for everyone’s taste - from Spider-Man and the X-Men to Star Wars and One Piece to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Pokemon.
Free Comic Book Day will run throughout the day on May 3rd at all ten Florida Coliseum of Comics locations in Orlando, Kissimmee, Tampa, Gainesville, Clermont, and Jacksonville.
