The biggest AND best day of the year for the Comic Reading community, Free Comic Book Day is a worldwide event designed to bring comics and comic book stores into the forefront of the public eye in the best way possible, by giving away thousands, upon thousands of FREE COMICS!
Yes, that is right! It’s as truly good as it sounds.
You come into the store on the day, you get to pick up some FREE COMICS!
From huge selection of titles, you'll have the chance to pick yourself a handful of new reads for FREE!
That is completely FREE!
No catches, no purchase necessary, all that is needed is you and a healthy interest in getting into the world of comics.

THINGS YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TOO ON THE DAY:
-FAMILY ONLY FIRST HOUR: 10AM-11AM
The idea is families with kids under 12, will get the chance to get in early while the store is still somewhat more relaxed.
Hopefully this we will make younger fans more comfortable, while parents can also grab some free books for themselves.
-REGULAR TRADING HOURS: 11AM-5PM
After the Family Only First Hour, the store will be open for regular trading to the general public 11am-5pm.
-KIDS ONLY FREE COMIC SHOWBAGS making it as easy as possible for families with kids to get a special kid friendly selection of FREE comics.
-FREE COMIC BOOK DAY ALL STAR COSTUME CONTEST like previous years we invite you to don a costume and head into the store to help share the comic joy on the streets of Melbourne and perhaps win yourself an All Star Gift Voucher with both and Adult and Kids division.
