Digital Arts Box is delighted to offer this FREE, four day, Coding Camp to young people eligible for free school meals, as part of our Halton Holiday Activity Fund Programme.
Join us to delve into the magical world of coding. Here, your young person will get the opportunity to dive head first in a range of different coding activities including coding robots, video games, drones and much more! Don't miss out on this opportunity to ignite their passion for innovation and creativity!
No prior experience is required for any activity, and all equipment will be provided by us. Our friendly tutors will be there to support you every step of the way.
Who can get involved?
We are looking for young people who fulfil the following criteria:
- 11-16 year olds
- A Halton resident
- Eligible for free school meals
Places can be given to young people on EHC or Support Plans, but they are not guaranteed. Priority will be given to young people who are eligible for free school meals.
When is this camp?
This club is made up of four, 2.5 hour sessions within the week.
Tuesday 13th August - Friday 16th August, 1:00pm- 3:30pm
Where will the camp take place?
Grangeway Community Centre, Grangeway, Runcorn, WA7 5HA
How much does it cost?
This project is funded by Halton Borough Council and the Department for Education for young people from Halton who are eligible for free school meals, therefore it is free to attend.
What equipment should I bring?
Digital Arts Box will bring all of the equipment needed to participate in this session.
