John Dromgoole grew up in Laredo, Texas, and without a doubt, his love of plants (and Mexican culture) can be traced to his roots in South Texas.
For over 40 years, he has championed organic and environmental issues, gaining recognition as a radio host, TV personality, and public speaker. He retired from his long-running organic gardening show, Gardening Naturally, in 2019. He has also hosted the PBS series The New Garden and frequently appears on local gardening programs.
In addition to gardening, John hosts a classic country music show on SUN Radio and KDRP. He remains active in his store and gardens, sharing his extensive knowledge with others.
