About this Event

We can all use time to CHILL. In this slow flow yoga class we will link breath with movement as we flow slowly and stretch deeply to mellow tunes.

New to yoga? CHILL can be a great place to start! With the slower flow, you get the chance to get used to the poses you'll see in every yoga class.

NOTE: this is not a restorative or gentle/stretching class. We also offer RESTORE and YIN for those looking for that slow, slow.

Meet Nicole Erb (she/her)!

HOMETOWN: Eustis, FL

FAVORITE SONG/ARTIST: I LOVE Taylor Swift and other many other genres of music (except Jazz & Reggae).

ODD FACT: I hate fruit! (all of it & yes it's weird)

MY CLASS STYLE: My goal is to teach you. I love moving. Anatomy is a passion as is understanding how we move. In my early days of teaching, I was obsessed with alignment and learning how to do things a specific way. But we all move differently because we come to the mat in different bodies that do not move in the same way. One cue might work for one student and something else might work for another. In my classes expect lots of instruction but with an invitation to explore not only shapes but how YOUR body moves. My classes are very focused on whether we are working towards a specific pose or a specific part of the body (which is sometimes pretty sore the next day). You can expect to leave my class learning something.

I began practicing yoga in 2003 in my friend's living room. She opened a yoga studio 2 years later, which is where I completed my first 200-hour teacher training and I've been teaching full-time ever since. I completed my 500-hour training in 2013 and have been blessed to study with a variety of inspiring asana teachers from many different lineages. My curiosity has also exposed me to incredible philosophy teachers with whom I have been lucky to travel to India twice.

My classes are very asana focused but my personal practice incorporates many of the amazing tools that yoga offers. One of the things I love so much about yoga is that it is never done. There is always more to explore, to learn, and to incorporate into your daily life. My teaching has evolved so much over the years and I welcome it. I am sincerely grateful to every student who has ever taken my class, they have been my greatest teachers. I could not show up for my students without the support of my kick-ass husband, my incredible son, and our two beyond-cute dogs, Maggie and Penny.
