Erin Allgrove lives in Devon, spending her time between Lynmouth and Tuckenhay, beautiful waterside locations which often inspire her writing.Bosun Bob, The Salty Old Sea Dog (published 2024) and Bosun Bob And The Cat With No Name (published March 2025) have quickly become popular with young readers and their families. Erin’s style is timeless and little nostalgic and her playful writing style really demonstrates her love of unusual words (and sea creatures).
On October 4th Erin will be joining us for story time and drawing activities. Erin will inspire the children who come along to consider what kind of stories they would write about their pets or other animals they love and encourage them to have a go at designing their own book covers! Pens, pencils and paper will be provided.
Children will have the chance to chat with Erin and she may also read some excerpts from the Bosun Bob books.
