This is a FREE bus service from Ty Pawb in Wrexham's city centre to Ty Mawr Country Park, one of Wrexham's beautiful country parks: https://maps.app.goo.gl/WVZbJnmKMtoFK81W8
Use this bus service to travel to Ty Mawr Country Park to either enjoy a couple of hours in nature before the bus returns to Ty Pawb. This park has a beautiful circular loop past the River Dee and animals including: a llama, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens and ducks. There is also a cafe and toilet facilities on site, a childrens playground and a BMX track. You could also join in with the "Walking With Trees" tour at Ty MawrCountry Park, hosted by James from the Woodland Classroom (suitable for all ages): https://fb.me/e/4QEd3KBKk
Pease note you do not need to take this bus to attend the Walking with Trees tour. You are welcome to make your own way to the park for the tour.
Please note, you do not need to book this bus to attend the tree walk, this is for booking the bus only. Just turn up to the tree walk, no need to book.
Bus Times:
09:30am - leave Ty Pawb - meet at main reception on Market Street at 9.30am (https://maps.app.goo.gl/bNVAAmV3kMjoJTUM6)
12.30pm - Leave Ty Mawr Country Park and return to Ty Pawb by 1pm
Walking With Trees tour information:
Ty Mawr Country Park offers a circular loop past the River Dee with a variety of tree and plant species. .
As we walk around the park, James will share a wealth of fun facts about each tree species we see. This is a must for anyone with even the slightest interest in trees and will be sure to engage and inspire you!
The Walking With Trees tour will start at 10am, begining near the main (top) car park in Ty Mawr Country Park. The walk will be slow paced and be mostly on tarmac paths. It will last 2 hours, ending at 12pm back at the car park. There is a cafe and toilet facilities at the park.

Tŷ Mawr Country Park lies on the banks of the River Dee in the Vale of Llangollen, part of the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Sitting underneath the Cefn Viaduct, Tŷ Mawr provides some of the best scenery around.
Tŷ Mawr first gained Green Flag Award accreditation in 2006 and has held it each year since.
The bus service and tree walk are completely free, paid for by the Local Places For Nature grant from Welsh Government to provide those without transport the opportunity to acess our country parks and provide educational talks on nature to the public. Please "purchase" a (free) ticket to confirm your place on the bus.
