To celebrate the start of our Big Burlesque Pantomime run at WMC, show creator and international sensation, FooFoo LaBelle is offering a free dance workshop on Saturday, 13 December, from 14:00 to 15:30 in the Presili Room at the Wales Millennium Centre. Come and grab yourself a bit of the action!
Unleash your stage persona and delve into the exciting world of a showgirl with the Queen of Welsh Burlesque, FooFoo LaBelle. All genders are welcome as we explore the world of burlesque to find your inner diva.
Master the moves: bumps, grinds, shimmies, poses and add the sass as we put together a short burlesque routine. Workshop includes glove peeling— don’t panic, gloves are the only clothing you will be taking off!
Please wear comfortable clothing or activewear.
Gloves are provided.
About Foo Foo LaBelle
International sensation, Foo Foo LaBelle has been hoofing it around the globe for over 30 years! Dancer, singer, choreographer, producer, mum and business owner, FooFoo founded Cardiff Cabaret Club in 2007. She has produced over 250 shows and taught thousands of classes and workshops where performers of all ages and experiences are welcome.
