Show your green credientials and join us in the crusade to help protect the ocean from the surge of rubbish on our beach. Help us 'Think Globally, Act Locally'.
It's estimated that there are 46,000 pieces of plastic per square mile of the ocean - a statistic which is incredibly easy to prevent - by using plastics responsibly, and picking up litter when you see it – this year we’re doing our bit to help clean up!

WHERE:
Our meeting point will be on the beach, OPPOSITE the Tempest Inn on Brighton Beach. Access the beach down the ramp or steps opposite the Przym Nightclub (on the opposite side of the road).
WHEN:
PLEASE ARRIVE AT 11am
THE ACTIVITY WILL FINISH AT 1pm
We will provide litter pickers, high visibility jackets and gloves.
We will sign everyone in and have a quick briefing before we start.
All participants must wear sensible closed-toe footwear and bring warm dry clothes in the event of inclement weather.
All equipment will be sanitised before & after use, and all participants will have individual equipment, therefore minimising cross contamination.
Hand sanitiser will be available at the meeting point.

- Sessions will last for a maximum of 2 hours.
- Public toilets are available close by
- Minors must be accompanied/supervised by an adult.
- Parking (paid) can be found at Churchill Square Shopping Centre.
