There are two parts to the workshop
Part #1: Ballroom Blues- 13:00 - 14:30
💃🏽Ballroom Blues is the "jazzy" style of Blues Dance. It is danced to the slow ballads of classic Swing musicians like Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald. The basic technique and steps are something of a cross between Lindy Hop and Tango. Ballroom Blues is smooth and elegant and allows you to feel incredible connection with your partner
Part #2: Jookin' Blues- 15:00 - 16:30
🎸Jookin' is the high-energy, powerful Blues Dance style that fits the Chicago Electric music styles of Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf. The steps are quite simple but the technique is unique. Jookin' allows you to focus on and feel your own body while connected to a partner. There are weekly parties in Krakow where Jookin' is danced.

The workshops are held at Laboratorium, at Słowackiego 48. To get in, press 100 (key) 1010 at the keypad and come up to the third floor.
We will have a Blues Dance party in the evening so you can practice what you have learned! Party starts at 21:00
