About this Event
We’re celebrating Black history and creativity all February long!
Join us on the Art Bus for a month of hands-on art activities inspired by incredible Black artists and cultural movements. Each week features a different artist or theme, giving youth the chance to learn, create, and explore through painting, collage, music, and mixed-media projects.
These sessions are free, family-friendly, and open to youth of all ages. All art supplies are provided, just bring your creativity!
Your registration covers ALL February Lessons:
Feb. 7: Jean-Michel Basquiat — expressive, graffiti-inspired canvas art
Feb. 14: Reggie Laurent — bold and colorful abstract art
Feb. 21: History of Black Music — listen, learn, and paint to iconic sounds
Feb. 28: Kimmy Cantrell — funky, vibrant cardboard mask art
Come learn about influential Black artists, try new creative techniques, and make artwork you can take home. We can’t wait to create with you!
