SUNDAY, Nov. 24 from 10 to noon!Let's help the Los Angeles Zoo out! For years they have struggled with a very bad rep. They have been slammed in the press and in zoo reviews. They have continuously been named in the TOP TEN list of WORST ZOOS for elephants by In Defense of Animals and this past year they were at the NUMBER ONE spot! We have seen with our own eyes that crowds are dwindling and ticket sales are suffering.
And it's almost all because they are continuing to hold Billy and Tina captive! Everything would be so much better for the zoo if it would show a little empathy and compassion for Billy and Tina and let them go to sanctuary. Heck, the zoo should just show some good business sense! The Oakland Zoo closed its elephant exhibit down recently to much acclaim, including from its own patrons!
Join us to help the zoo do the right thing and #FreeBilly and #FreeTina. You can hold a sign, chant, do speakouts, bang a drum or blow a whistle, take photos or make videos, or talk to patrons - whatever you feel is right for you! Let's just get Billy and Tina out of the zoo and into their forever homes into sanctuary!
