This bike maintenance workshop is designed to give you the skills and knowledge to be able to replace worn/damaged wheel components.About this Event
This workshop is delivered by Cotton Town Bikes. It is free thanks to funding from CyclingUK's Big Bike Revival project.
This workshop is module 2 of a 6 module series on bicycle maintenance.
You will learn:
- What components make up the bicycle wheel.
- How your wheel works.
- How to effectively clean your wheel.
- How to identify wheel wear/damage.
- How to remove/replace your wheels.
- The tools you will need to be able to replace worn/damaged wheel components.
Schedule:
- 18:00 - 18:30 - refreshments and social networking.
- 18:30 - 20:30 - Workshop.
- 20:30 - 21:00 - refreshments and social networking.
These workshops are popular and numbers are limited. If you book a place on the workshop and can no longer attend please cancel your ticket so that someone else has the chance to attend.
