FREE Bike Classes (Indoors): LEARN TO RIDE & BASIC SKILLS

Get rolling with Pedal Positive! FREE 2-hour bicyclist education classes for adults/teens! Bikes and helmets are included. Choose the one that's right for you:

• (1) LEARN TO RIDE A BIKE: For adults and mature teens who don't know how to ride a bicycle and want to learn how to ride in a fun, supportive small-group environment. Our friendly certified instructors use a safe, easy, and successful method to teach students how to balance, pedal, start, stop, and steer a bike.

• (2) BASIC RIDING SKILLS: For recent Learn to Ride graduates or others who know how to ride but need to work on their basic handling skills in a fun, supportive small-group environment. The session is led by our friendly certified instructors to help you become more proficient at starting/stopping, turning, scanning, signaling, shifting, and other basic skills that riders use regularly.

• HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO LEARN?: Everybody learns at their own pace, which could be one session or multiple sessions. You do you! Take as many free sessions as you need or use the low-stress method you’ll learn to teach yourself!

• CLASS SIZE: Small group to allow students to receive personalized instruction.

• LOCATION: Indoor, climate-controlled class location.

• AGE LIMIT: Students must be at least 13 years old.

• EQUIPMENT: Free registration includes the use of Pedal Positive's bicycles and helmets, or you can bring your own in good working order.

• REGISTRATION INFO: Advanced registration required.

• PARKING: Free parking in the Rec Center lot as well as free nearby street parking.
