Enjoy free admission from noon to 4 pm on the third Sunday of every month! Each monthly Free Arts! Family Days explores a new S.T.E.A.M. themed activity, giving families time to immerse themselves in science, technology, engineering or math while creating some inspired art. All activities are designed to be accessible for young visitors while also engaging the young at heart. Free Arts! Family Days use each monthly focus to encourage creativity and collaboration among families and friends.

Juan Sebastian Restrepo will lead a vibrant workshop that will ignite your creativity! Explore the fascinating world of color theory through dynamic, hands-on activities using colored construction paper.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Juan Sebastian Restrepo is an accomplished artist whose work delves into the intricate relationships within social categorizations through figurative painting and drawing. Currently based in Florida, he received his Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Painting from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Painting from Pratt Institute.
Sebastian's art explores how social categorizations intersect and create interconnected systems of difference, judgment, and understanding. His exhibitions have been featured in various prestigious venues across the United States. Notably, he exhibited intersection at the New World Gallery, New World School of the Arts in 2023, showcased Hybridity at the Edwardsville Arts Center in Edwardsville, IL in 2018, and participated in Empty Walls at the Coral Springs Museum of Art in Coral Springs, FL in 2024.
