Join us this month for an exciting hands-on activity presented by the Oak Spring Garden Foundation in partnership with the Fauquier County Public Library- Bealeton! Kids (ages 6-11) and teens (ages 12-18) are invited to get creative and learn the history and art of topiary design and espalier engineering. The workshop will start off with a brief introduction into the history with examples, and then kids will learn how to sculpt and trim their own topiary and engineer an edible espalier!
It's a fun and free way to learn new skills, get artsy, and connect with the natural world.
