Would you like a free dwarf apple tree to plant at home, in the ground or in a pot? FTC Tree Officer Helen got busy in March 2024 creating saplings from three types of heritage apple tree, and they're almost ready to find new homes. We're giving some away at the wassail on 8th February: pick one up from there or join the team at the Rangers' Yard in Victoria Park on Monday 10th Feb from 3pm to 4.30pm.
First come, first served: drop in to take home a fruity friend!
The heritage apple trees were grafted onto a M27 Dwarfing rootstock, meaning it will be a small tree with a maximum height of 6ft, ideal for a small space.
