Television antiques expert Paul Martin will be offering free valuations to people in Eastleigh this April.The Flog It! star will be here at The Point to host a community valuation day. The event will run from 10am to 3pm and will give people the chance to find out the value of any items they have been wondering about.
People are encouraged to bring along any items they are keen to know more about, including antiques, collectables, silver, gold, militaria and jewellery. These items will be discussed, valued and may even be put up for sale.
Paul said: "I’m always intrigued by the amazing items that turn up at these events.
"But it’s not all about the items, it’s about community and sharing our local histories too."
The valuation day will provide an opportunity for residents to have their items evaluated by an expert, gaining insight into their historical and monetary value.
Paul: "Whether it’s a family heirloom, a curious find from a flea market, or an antique that’s been gathering dust, I’m excited to hear the stories behind each piece.
"While I enjoy my TV work, my true passion has always been antiques.
"These events let me connect with people, share in their history, and uncover the stories that make these items special."
Paul is best known for presenting the BBC show Fog It!, as well as Antiques Road Trip, Britain’s Hidden Heritage and Paul Martin’s Auction Showdown on My5.
