Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Board-Certified Lifestyle Medicine Professional and Anti-Aging Health Practitioner, and nationally recognizedHealth & Longevityradio talk show host, Dr. John Westerdahl, will present a free community health seminar and luncheon on Saturday, September 20th, at the Santa Monica Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1254 19thStreet, in Santa Monica.
The free program and luncheon begin with a buffet lunch served at 12:30 pm, featuring several plant-based vegetarian recipes from various Blue Zone regions of the world, identified byNational GeographicMagazine, as “cultures of longevity,” where many healthy people live to over 100 years of age. The Seventh-day Adventist population of Loma Linda, California was identified as one of the world’s Blue Zone regions, and the only one in the United States.
After the lunch, at 1:30, Dr. Westerdahl, who assistedNational Geographicin their Blue Zone research, will speak on the topic, “Anti-Aging Nutrition Secrets for Health and Longevity.” The lecture addresses the science and theories of aging, longevity, and anti-aging. In addition to the free luncheon and lecture, each participant will also receive a free booklet, authored by Dr. Westerdahl, onAnti-Aging Secrets, which summarizes much of the information he will present in the lecture.
