Meet Artist George Charriez: Deriving inspiration from his artistic family, George was focused on drawing and painting everything he saw around him from the time he was a young boy. George would experiment with a myriad of mediums of art, even using brown paper grocery bags when he did not have proper art materials. By age 17, George had numerous mural and private portrait commissions on his resume. After studying art at Savannah College of Art & Design, then later at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, George worked as an illustrator and industrial designer in NY where he continued to perfect his artistic abilities by choosing figures that are easily relatable. In April 2022, George and his wife (and art director) Lauren, opened up their Art Gallery in Blue Ridge, George, which also serves as George's studio.
MEET NASTIYA G: An amazing self-taught watercolor and oil artist. Born in Ukraine, she obtained her bachelor's degree in interior design before relocating to the United States when she was 21. Nastiya's parents, who are also artists, sparked her interest in painting when she was a child, and she has been exploring various painting techniques since the age of 10. Nastiya G's paintings have been exhibited in galleries and art shows nationally and internationally and has brought both a wonderfully fun parody along with serious perspective of Anime, Harry Potter, villains and much more to the art community. She has also worked on a number of public art installations in various locations throughout the United States.
MEET ANNA GROM: Growing up in Estonia, Anna was exposed and taught to create art on a high technical level from a young age. She graduated from Togliatti State University in 2006 with a Bachelors in Art and Design before moving to the U.S. to pursue her dream of becoming a professional artist. In addition to traditional canvas painting, Anna's work can be seen on large murals across Atlanta. Anna's vast travels and diverse experiences has helped her become an exceptional artist where she continues to push boundaries in the world of contemporary art.
George, Nastiya and Anna will be autographing all of their purchased artwork and will add original paint embellishments/highlights to their purchased prints turning your canvas into a one-of-a-kind original at no additional charge. This adds $200 value to your canvas.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ):
HOW DO I GET MY FREE 9"x12" PRINT? SHARE this event on any of your social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, X etc.) by November 16th. Limit one free print per individual who shared on their own/separate social media. When you check in at the event, use your phone to show proof you shared the event in order to get your free print.
HOW DO I GET MY FREE $15 GIFT CERTIFICATE/CREDIT? Simply register on our Tixr event page at https://tixr.com/pr/fboverall/121858 for your free tickets and you will receive a $15 gift certificate/credit upon checking out at the cash register. Any information you provide in the Tixr registration is private and will not be shared or sold. We will only email you the next time we visit your city to give you the details and dates. When you check out at the register, use your phone to show us your tickets and you will be given a $15 credit which applies to all items for sale (including discounted items). Please remember to show the cashier your tickets to redeem your $15 BEFORE paying for your merchandise as we may not remember to ask. Limit one $15 gift certificate per family household, couple, etc. Gift certificates may not be combined for redemption. Children under 18 do not qualify for the $15 gift certificate. Please have your phone and tickets ready to show at the front to keep the line moving quickly. If you forget to redeem your $15 credit and you already made your purchase, you may choose another item to apply the $15 to as no refunds will be given.
DO I HAVE TO REGISTER AND GET A TICKET TO ATTEND? No. You can simply show up as admission is 100% free but you won't get a $15 gift certificate unless you register.
WHAT WILL THE ARTIST DO? George Charriez and Nastiya G will be signing and adding original hand embellishments/highlights to all of her purchased prints turning it into a one of a kind original at no charge. This adds $200 value to your canvas!
IS THIS EVENT COMPLETELY FREE? Yes, everyone is free to attend and no purchase is necessary. Autographs and paint embellishments by the artist are also free.
DO I HAVE TO BUY ANYTHING TO ENJOY THE FREE BOOZE AND SODA? Nope! Absolutely no purchase is necessary. You are welcome to enjoy complimentary beer, wine, soda and hot chocolate just for showing up.
ARE KIDS ALLOWED? This event is 100% Kid Friendly!
IS THERE ANY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (A.I.) ART AT THIS EVENT? Absolutely NOT! All our art sold on our website and featured at our show was created by human hands and all made in the USA. We do not believe A.I. art is actually art and we stay firm with that decision.
IS PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED? You are welcome to photograph cosplayers, voice actors and the overall event and encouraged to share it with friends. However, Due to encounters of theft, attempts in converting the art via A.I. and/or unauthorized reproduction (bootlegging) of the artwork, our artists request no closeup photography of the art itself please. Out of respect for the artists, this rule is strictly enforced. All Amazing staff members would be happy to take a photo of the art for you in a manner where it cannot be reproduced so easily - just ask.
CAN I DRESS UP IN COSPLAY? Of course. We love it when visitors dress up as their favorite pop culture hero or villain.
WHY ARE THERE MULTIPLE EVENTS DISPLAYING A SIMILAR EVENT WITH THE SAME DATES AND LOCATIONS? These are all the same event! We are limited in the amount of characters we can type in an event title. Since our event encompasses: Anime, Game, Horror, Marvel, DC, Disney, Star Wars, Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter & Lord of the Rings, this is simply too long to put into an event title. To make it easier and in order to reach fans of each theme, we have created separate events for these themes but it is all the same event.
